what is the difference between the encode modes?
component mode encodes everything unsafe including / ? & =, for query values. full url mode keeps those characters so the url still works.
why do i get a malformed error?
decoding fails when a percent sign is not followed by two hex digits, or the bytes are not valid utf-8.
