frequently asked questions
what format is the recording?
webm (opus) in chrome, edge and firefox, m4a in safari. press convert to get an mp3.
why does my browser ask for the microphone?
browsers need your permission first. you can revoke it in site settings at any time.
is there a time limit?
no fixed limit; the audio is held in memory, so very long sessions are better split.
