frequently asked questions
how does it remove metadata?
the picture is redrawn from its pixels into a new file, which carries none of the original metadata.
will quality change?
png and webp stay pixel-identical. jpg is re-encoded at high quality, so there is a tiny difference.
are my photos uploaded?
no. cleaning runs in your browser.
