how to rotate pdf pages
- drop your pdf on the box above, or click it to choose a file.
- look at the thumbnails. tap a page to turn it right, or use the small arrows under it for left and right.
- to fix many pages at once, use rotate all, odd pages or even pages. press reset to undo everything.
- press download rotated pdf. the new orientation is saved in the file.
a pdf page has a rotation setting separate from its content. this tool changes that setting, so the text and images are not re-encoded and the file size stays the same. every viewer, including phones, browsers and printers, shows the corrected orientation.
if only some pages are wrong, rotate those pages individually. scans from document feeders often mix orientations, and double-sided scans often have every second page upside down, which odd and even rotation fixes in two clicks.
rotating cannot fix a page that is skewed by a few degrees. for that, rescan or straighten the original image first. to remove margins after rotating, use crop pdf.

frequently asked questions
can i rotate only some pages?
yes. tap a page thumbnail to turn it 90 degrees clockwise, use the small arrows under it to go either way, or rotate every page, only odd pages or only even pages with the buttons.
is the rotation permanent?
yes. the new orientation is saved inside the pdf, so it looks right in every viewer. content is not re-rendered, so quality is unchanged.
is my pdf uploaded?
no. rotation happens locally in your browser with pdf-lib.
why do only some pages need rotating in my scan?
when a stack goes through a feeder, pages that were fed sideways come out rotated. thumbnails show the problem pages at a glance, so you only turn those and leave the rest.
how do i rotate just the odd or even pages?
press odd pages or even pages once for each 90 degree turn. this fixes double-sided scans where every back side came out upside down.
will the rotation change the file size?
no, or by a few bytes. the pdf only stores a rotation value per page, the page content itself is not touched.
