no. browsers do not let web pages capture speech synthesis output, so it can only be played. record it with a system audio recorder if you need a file.
why are the voices different on my phone?
voices come from your operating system and browser, so each device has its own list and languages.
is my text sent anywhere?
no. built-in voices run on your device (some chrome voices may use an online service, marked in the voice name).
