how to screen recorder with audio
- tick the options you want: microphone, tab or system audio, webcam, countdown.
- press start recording and choose a screen, window or tab in the browser picker.
- watch the 3 second countdown, then do what you want to record.
- press stop, preview the video and download the mp4.
two separate things can make sound in a recording: your microphone, and the audio of what you share. both are mixed together. in the picker, choose a chrome tab and tick share tab audio to capture that tab, or on windows choose entire screen and tick share system audio to capture everything.
if the other person's voice is also coming from your speakers, wear headphones. otherwise your microphone picks them up a second time and you get an echo. do a 10 second test and play it back before the real thing. the preview shows whether both sources were captured.

why is there no sound from my computer?
you must tick share audio in the browser picker, and your browser has to support it: chrome and edge do, with limits on mac. safari and firefox do not capture computer sound.
can i record only my voice?
yes. untick tab and system audio before you start.
how do i avoid echo?
use headphones, so your microphone cannot hear the speakers.
