how to screen recorder with webcam overlay
- tick the options you want: microphone, tab or system audio, webcam, countdown.
- press start recording and choose a screen, window or tab in the browser picker.
- watch the 3 second countdown, then do what you want to record.
- press stop, preview the video and download the mp4.
the camera is drawn as a mirrored circle in the corner you choose. place it in the corner where your screen has the least going on, usually bottom left for code editors and bottom right for slides. you can switch corners mid-recording if something is hidden behind it.
keep the light in front of you, not behind. the medium size is about one fifth of the screen width, readable on phones. since camera and screen are mixed into one video, you cannot move or remove the bubble afterwards, so do a short test first.

frequently asked questions
can i change the position later?
not in the saved file, since the bubble is part of the picture. you can change the corner during recording from the menu next to stop.
can i record without my face?
yes. untick the webcam option, or use the main screen recorder page.
why does the webcam ask for permission?
browsers ask for the camera and microphone separately for privacy. nothing leaves your device; it is only drawn into your recording.
