the date stamp starts with today’s date in year-month-day form. choose slash formats if the form asks for day/month/year or month/day/year, or the long form with the month spelled out. you can also type your own text, such as received 3 march, in the box and it is used as the stamp.
place the date on the line it belongs to by clicking on the page, then press add. the text color follows the ink color. if you also need a signature, switch to signature at the top, create it, and place it on the same page, then download once.

which date format should i use?
follow the form. in most of the world it is day/month/year, in the us month/day/year. the year-month-day form cannot be misread, so it suits contracts that cross borders.
can i add a date that is not today?
yes. type any text in the box under the format buttons, and the stamp updates at once.
can i change the date after it is added?
remove the stamp with the cross next to it, change the text and add it again. the saved file cannot be edited afterwards.
