how to extract one page from a pdf
- drop your pdf on the box above, or click it to choose a file.
- pick a mode: tap pages on the thumbnails, split every page, every n pages, or in half.
- for custom pages, choose one file per range or all selected pages in one file. the line under the options shows what you will get.
- press split pdf. one result downloads as a pdf, several as a zip.
this page is set up for exactly one page: tapping a thumbnail selects it and replaces any earlier choice, so you cannot pick two by accident. the thumbnails are small previews, so check the page number printed under the picture, which is the position in the file and may differ from the number printed on the paper.
the new pdf is named after the original with the page number added, like report-page-12.pdf. if you need several separate pages in one file instead, use split pdf with all in one file, or the extract pages tool.

frequently asked questions
why does the page number differ from the number on the page?
the thumbnail number counts pages from the start of the file, including the cover and any unnumbered pages. a page printed as 5 may be page 7 of the file.
can i extract the last page quickly?
yes. type the last page number in the box. the page count of your file is shown above the thumbnails.
is the page still sharp after extracting?
yes. the page is copied without re-rendering, so text stays selectable and images are unchanged.
